Robin the wizard walked quietly through the woods in deep thought. He searched around the forest until he saw a young man. “That’s it” Robin muttered. Sir Thomas was a man dressed in a medieval green tunic. He usually wore fantastic jewellery around his neck but today he wore his hunting outfit.
Robin the wizard waved his wand and a hunting rabbit came near.
“Catch it!” Sir Thomas cried. “Catch it for the King’s feast tonight!”
The King’s Feast! Who had heard it was tonight? Robin the Wizard hadn’t realised it was tonight. What was he doing out here?
Now, Robin the wizard lived in a castle far away. It was called ‘Castell Dewin yn y goedwig’ to remind of him homeland in Wales.

He started to descend the steps of the castle. It was dark but with a wave of his cloak, the castle was illuminated in light.
“You’re back, Sir.” An apprentice moved out from the shadows.
“Yes, I am Arthur.” He looked at the boy and gave him a grin.
“Now how did it go, Sir?” Arthur asked
“It went well, until I realised the King’s feast at Camelot is tonight and I need to prepare the golden arrow for then.”
“I’ll get your spell book Sir” Arthur offered, and he reached for a small brown book from a high shelf.
“Thank you Arthur, it’s always a pleasure having your assistance.
The izard carried the spell book over to a bubbling cauldron in the centre of the room. He opened the spell book and raised his arm over the cauldron.
“One apple from the orchard far”
Arthur dropped an apple into the cauldron.
“A brick of the most valuable gold”
Splash, the item went in.
“Lightening for the speed”
A bolt fired into the cauldron.
“And an arrow from a hunter”
The arrow plunged into the cauldron.
There was a final wave of Robin’s cloak and he revealed to Arthur, an arrow. “This, my loyal Arthur, is the golden arrow!”
“Very clever, Sir” Arthur gave him a round of applause.
“Whoever wins this tomorrow will be King Arthur’s top knight, of the Round Table. I will present it at dinner tonight, to the guests of the feast. Sir Thomas’ brother will want it very badly.”
“I guess he would Sir, he is quite grumpy” Arthur yawned.
“It’s your bedtime Arthur, you should get some rest for the tournament tomorrow, as we are going to watch.”
“Thanks for taking me Sir” Arthur said, as he cuddled Jackson his teddy under his duvet.

Robin the wizard scurried towards a big castle, in a city called Camelot. “This is my chance” he thought in glee.
